MacOS Set Up Instructions
AppsAnywhere Platform Instructions for MacOS Users
AppsAnywhere is a remote application platform that enables users to access software from various devices including Windows, Macs and Chromebooks. The following instructions are specific to Mac Operating System users.
1) Open a web browser (On a Mac, FireFox or Safari browsers are recommended) and go to the link: https://appsanywhere.pharmacy.utoronto.ca
2) Enter your SRC* account credentials as shown below and click “Sign in”.
*SRC account credentials are issued by the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy. Contact helpdesk.phm@utoronto.ca from your UofT email address if you’ve forgotten or lost your SRC account information.
3) If this is first time you are accessing the AppsAnywhere platform then select “It’s my first time using ...”. The AppsAnywhere file will be downloaded to your Apple computer. If you have already downloaded and installed AppsAnywhere then select “I’ve already used AppsAnywhere …” and skip to #11.
4) First time users, launch the downloaded AppsAnywhere installer file.
Start the setup process and AppsAnywhere will proceed to install. Click “Continue” as shown in the following window.
5) Click “Install”.
6) Enter your Mac Username and Password to “Install Software”.
7) Enter your Mac Username and Password to “Install Helper”.
8) Once the installation process is complete, click “Close”.
9) Click “Done”.
10) Click “Open AppsAnywhere” as shown below. This will authorize you to launch applications published at AppsAnywhere web platform and you will be able to access the Kroll application.
10A) In grant access folder window shown below, click at "Confirm".
10B) Choose the folder in your Mac where you want to save your documents downloaded from kroll system and then click at "Open".
10C) Click at "Done" in the following window.
10d) If you see the following "RAS Connection Error" window then click at "Reconnect" as shown below.
11) To Open the Kroll application and click “Launch”. Be patient! Do not click the application more than once - it may take up to one minute to open. Log in with credentials provided by your course instructors.
